Yeah, but will it be as big of a change as ME1 to ME2?

Yes, this game might actually be an improvement over the first game.

I kid I kid. I loves me Mass Effect 2.

So it will actually be an improvement, unlike Cod4->MW2...

Whoa there, Morgan. You are aware that there are adjectives other than "fresh", right?

Richard (K) Morgan wrote Altered Carbon, Broken Angels and Woken Furies, all awesome sci-fi/cyberpunk novels. Don't know if they'll ever develop them into films but they would be great (all feature the same main character, Takeshi Kovacs, who - like everybody else who can afford it - transfers his consciousness/memories into and out of different bodies. Sometimes he solves a murder, sometimes he battles against rogue AIs on a colony planet, sometimes he discovers ancient alien artifacts and spacecraft). Either way, it's pretty sweet stuff.

I think it's a wise choice for Crysis to hire such a great author for its plot and wish more production companies would too. It's much better than the all too familiar "setpiece" style of video game production where they have 6 or 7 places that you want to be at and they cob together something to tie them all together.

I've never played Crysis but I'm looking forward to seeing what this will be about.

Big Mac aesthetic = multiplayer portion of Starcraft II. One of the reasons why I am more excited for the singleplayer.

Lol I never thought about it that way before. Crytek is on a roll at bashing other companies. And crysis 1 still being my favorite game for the editor and Mp, can't wait for 2

In Samuel L. Jackson voice: "This is a tasty burger!"

Seriously though, I hope Crysis 2 is good. And by "good," I mean better than Brink, Bulletstorm, and Rage. 'Cause this game isn't even on my radar when compared to those three.

I can understand Brink and Bulletstorm, but why Rage? They're both pretty similar in that they're big and really only selling point is their graphics. Crysis 2 is just another New York City invasion but with pretty graphics, and Rage is just another Mad Max/Borderlands with pretty graphics. The other games seem comparatively unique and innovative but these two dont have a leg to stand on besides their extremely huge, muscly, cybernetic leg of graphics

This guy is starting to sound a bit like another bloated ego peter molyneux... He would be better off keeping his yap shut at the expense of building a game who's hype will not live up to the expectations.

i like big macs.

i dont really like crysis.

im happy it exists, but i didnt exactly think of it as a good game.

killing enemies was just boring; the physics were too stiff, the graphics lent little to the gameplay, level design was chiefly linear and uninteresting given the weapons and enemy ai, i dont even want to think about it anymore.

add the euphoria physics engine and the game could at least ascend to overall average.
