Seriously. Dude's the star on my fantasy team. I am gonna be so pissed. Unless he breaks the curse...in which case I will rejoice!

I don't understand why EA Sports doesn't face this Madden curse business head on. I'm not a sports game fan at all but I would dish out some cash just for the pure novelty of Madden 11: Super Curse Edition.

Hell, even a cheat mode where the cursed player gets an anti-God mode in-game would be fantastic. Instant fumbles, injuries on every play, etc.

I actually thought our buddy Peter had been doing a good job updating the game from year to year. Of course, it'd be better if they switched to a release every other year...

I think the only thing more played out than Madden is jokes about how Madden is the same every year.

Seriously though, while Madden had a long reign of suckitude they really got things right with Madden 2010. It plays totally differently than 09 and is one of the best Madden's ever. Plus, online franchises!

I disagree that madden 10 was best. 04 was always my favorite, well except 64 which was still so fun

I wish they'd put the Raiders QB on the cover. Maybe the curse would work backwards and we'd actually have a winning season.

If a certain person were to not have control of the team it would save them. So they'll have wait until Al Davis dies for that to happen.

Actually this might work. If Jamarcus Russell got hurt and couldn't play the Raiders would definitely be a better team.

The fact that Madden himself is a former RAIDERS coach will bless ANY Raider player immunity from the curse.

GO RAIDERS!

You can take Ben Roethlisberger from Pittsburgh. I think that after Dennis Dixon gets a little experience, he would be a good fit for Pittsburgh complete lack of an offensive line.

I wasn't expecting the Saints to be the top of the NFC South this year anyway; that's going to be the Bucs if history is any indication. But I'm a die hard Saints fan and I'd hate to see Drew Brees suffer from the curse. *Crosses Fingers* Of course, having Brees on the cover basically means I have to buy the next Madden even though it's just roster changes.

Sorry New Orleans, Breesus will be crucified next year. You can't reason with the madden cover or outsmart it; its evil will mercilessly track you down and you will get your leg crushed under a lineman.

The curse is nonsense. That kind of stupidity is saved for superstitious idiots. Drew Brees belongs on the cover because he is the best.

I am glad for em.

you know what the "big improvement" is supposed to be this year? receivers running their routes correctly, and reaching out for the first down marker. APF 2k8's receivers did that, plus fought the ball while it was in the air and tapped their feet on the sidelines. and as i recall, the receivers in 2k1 reached for the first down markers. madden is fun and all, but they ARE pretty much selling people the same thing every year. competition has improve hockey, soccer, and basketball video games every year (live was actually sorta good this year!), but as long as there is only ONE NFL game, nothing will really change...

Madden was cursed the day it sold its soul to the Devil to beat out Tecmo Super Bowl for the false claim of being the greatest football video game there was, because it had the largest budget. Cursed? You bet.
