Thanks to a good catch by Superannuation, we may now know the title of Ubisoft's proposed follow-up to Assassin's Creed 2: "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood." That's the name of a currently inactive domain registered by Ubisoft earlier this year. Additionally, the publisher has scooped up "driversanfranciscogame.com," which could be the name and location of the announced Driver reboot.
"Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood" would certainly be a suitable name for what's expected to be the first game in the series with "an online multiplayer mode" (not counting the iPhone game, of course). As for "Driver: San Francisco," what better place to jump start the drained franchise? Some of the world's greatest feats of driving have taken place in San Fran, after all. Ever seen the movie Bullit? Have you played San Francisco Rush? Don't tell us you missed San Francisco Rush 2049!

Too bad they won't have any customers left to buy the upcoming games...

I think he's referring to the PC gamers. They'll still have plenty of PS3 and 360 customers though.

Exciting stuff, Ubisoft should have a good idea of how co-op should be done given Splinter Cell: Conviction which I'm thoroughly enjoying. Throw that into Rome and I'm good to go.

Somewhere without broken, draconian DRM that ended up hacked through anyway...
Thereby punishing legitmate users moreso than other misguided DRM attempts.
Oh, and let us not forget the authentication servers, required to play the game, crashing and unavailable for days.
...but that was hackers initiating a DDoS! Really!

Only miserable PC gamers I know are the ex-console guys who find that to get the prettier/more complex graphics, more complex games, better input devices, faster load times and more content they have to do more than push a big button.
The rest of them do just fine when they're not being violated by the companies who're trying to get them to buy their broken product.
I am not a PC gamer. I'm a gamer. I have five grand into my PC, but I also have a PSWii60 and a PSP.

The first game had a San Fran level. My favourite of the game, too.

Because sometimes it's more fun to just sit down and play the game than to get inside the Animus and get my ass kicked around in the process ;-)

Yay - for Driver: SF! I know a lot of people don't like that game series, but I do enjoy it very much and hope that this game does make it to retail.

Yes! The Driver series is definitely in need of a reboot. I think Ubisoft can do it justice.
