This may be the greatest thing to ever happen to PlayStation Homeever. To promote the upcoming Iron Man 2 movie, Paramount Pictures and Audi have partnered up to create a brand new Iron Man-themed mini-game, exclusively for PlayStation Home. Debuting on Thursday, April 29th, the Audi Space will be updated with a game that has your avatar donning an Iron Man suit, flying through an aerial obstacle course.
The best times will be recorded on a leaderboard, and the top 10 scores by the end of June will be awarded with a virtual Iron Man suit to keep, making this one of the rarest virtual items ever offered for Sony's online community.
Unfortunately, this game is exclusive to the European PSN, meaning those of you outside of SCEE's domain won't be able to partake in the fun. To see what you're missing out on, check out the trailer after the break.
Hey, Joystiq. I really appreciate how you build up all of this excitement in your article and then dash all of my hopes and dreams by telling me it's exclusive to Europe.
Ok, so I'm totally NOT excited by this because, like, Home is lame... but I wish you'd said that it would only be available in Europe at the beginning of the article. ...You know, in case someone like me who doesn't live in Europe MIGHT be incredibly let down by that...

no kidding... I like Home and drop in to check it out every so often and like all the changes and additions they have made but limiting cool/fun promos like this is not the wisest thing for them to do...
Sweet! This like the Red Bull planes! I'll just log on to my EU account Thursday. Also, how did this manage to pull off flying better than those two Sega movie games?
Yeah, because delayed release dates so I can have the option to change the language to Danish is a plus. In fact, the only good difference between NTSC and PAL release is that most NTSC game covers suck more than Monica Lewinsky.
Yeah but Europe gets amazing special editions while us Americans are left with some cheap junk. Not always. I wanted the European Bayonetta CE so bad. Though I did get a well sealed package of 9 full size high quality posters out of it. Most are too graphic to hang in my household though. Maybe once I get my condo and have my gamer room.
Top 10 winners eh? Mini-game programmed in (likely) a couple of weeks? Any bets that more than 10 people will share the exact same scores. Good time to have a PSN account starting with a number ladies and gentlemen.
