Now, we know that Xbox 360 Games on Demand costing $19.99 and $29.99 is nothing new, but we have to call into question the choice of that higher price point for two of the three newest games available via the service.
Far Cry 2, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men and Shrek the Third are now on the Marketplace, as promised, all priced at $30. Three Hamiltons for Far Cry 2? That we can get behind. But the other two are definitely $20 fare, in our humble (professional) opinion. Especially since you can buy all three games new for near that price from online retailers such as Amazon.

Well, if you notice, Far Cry 2 and Shrek The Third are each $29.99 but amazon has them discounted. As for Kane & Lynch, it appears it had a price cut so, either the publisher didn't get the memo or the publisher just picked a higher price point because they can.

These Games On Demand prices are not doing anything but help out the price of used games. Speaking of Amazon, you can get all three used for particularly the price of one of these games downloaded. Who is actually downloading these games?

People with money they don't care about? It's also not like you can click "buy" and then immediately start playing. They're all 4-6 gig downloads so you couldn't even play it for like at least 2-3 hrs after you bought it. Maybe longer depending on your connection. I can get to the gamestop/best buy and back to my house in under 10 minutes. There's zero benefit for these On Demand games.
