Rocket Knight touches down May 12 on XBLA and Steam, May 18 on PSN

Why can't they release this stuff during late summer when no one has any school/work commitments.

So PS3 users get the game a week later... I had supposed that by Sony changing the Playstation Store update to Tuesday, we would get games, demos, etc. a day earlier than Xbox Live. I hope this doesn't become the norm and instead of getting things a day earlier we get them a week later.

What else is on May 12? Oh, that's right, my birthday. I better get a damn points card or I'm going to be pissed.

This is what Sony gets for trying to undercut XBLA's Wednesday release dates on games. Now you get to wait a whole week instead of a day. Quit being greedy Sony.

Edge kind of tore this game a new one in their preview section. They also likened the original to a would-be Sonic clone, which I think is unfair.

To me at least, the original had much more personality than Sonic ever did, and the mixing up of gameplay from platformer to shooter to mech fighter felt pretty innovative to me at the time. Here's to hoping they've been faithful to the source material.

I wondered if this would happen when Sony moved to Tuesdays, sometimes it seems like Microsoft is a little too aggressive with the DLC timed exclusives and release dates. Although I am fortunate to have both systems I dream of a world where all content is released on the same day... people with black systems will have the privileges of the white ones... and that no one, and I mean no one will have to wait two years to play the rest of Grand Theft Auto... it is a beautiful place.

I've never played Rocket Knight before but having to wait till March 16th for PS3 owners is weird would at least expect to get it a day earlier than XBLA owners.

Wouldn't that be May 11th PSN, May 12th XBL. Didn't they say they were changing the update schedule of PSN to Tuesday starting in May?

Hm... Ya know what. Its only the developers of video games that are stabbing themselves in the foot when they delay games for the PSN. There are other things can creep in and steel their spotlight easily when they choose to do that. Rather then Konami, in this case, and other developers in others waiting it out until both versions are ready and releasing them simultaneously, they feel this strange urge to treat PSN gamers like Sh*@!. That really doesn't pose a good image for a company. Why they haven't figured that out is beyond me. All I have to say is, you'd better get with the program. What's going to happen when the PlayStation 3 surpasses the 360 in sales, which if you're watching carefully, its gaining some ground in the rest of the world. The US remains the same. They enjoy their Fords, Chevy's, Dodges, Buicks, Harley's and now their Xbox 360's. But the rest of the world doesn't really feel that way. What are developers gonna do when they've taken a crap on PS3 gamers, and suddenly the PS3 pulls out front? Then what will you do? You've just left this bitter taste in your gamers fans mouths that they don't want to come back for.

IF business is business, you're going about it the wrong way, and you better zip up your fly now, or the worlds gonna be laughing at you later.

For Example. You know how it started with just two developers leaving Activision and Infinity Ward? Eventually, the rest got sick of being treated like crap and went with them. Look at Activision now. The same happened with their fans. You take a dump on your fans, look what happens. Rock Band emerges along with just about everything else. Now what does Activision have? NOTHING. Not even much of a loyal fanbase anymore when word gets out to the causal gamer that Call of Duty is nothing anymore and the developers are will EA. Developers had better wake up.
