Sega dusts off Gunblade NY and LA Machineguns for Wii

Sega is releasing 90s arcade light gun titles Gunblade NY and LA Machineguns on the Wii sometime this summer in an "Arcade Hits Pack." The bundle, revealed by the ESRB a couple weeks back, contains new features for the games like a "Chain Combo System" and "Unlockable Weapon Toggle," which uses game ranking to unlock extra weapons.

Of course, because these titles were released in arcades during the 90s, they lack something we find essential in Sega light gun games now: profuse swearing. For that, we recommend the underappreciated House of the Dead: Overkill, available for $20. Yeah, a light gun game just isn't the same anymore without copious f-bombs.
