Rumor: Leaked GameStop ad reveals black Wii bundle

Great deal. I have no idea why, but I'd like another Wii.

Nintendo puts traces of crack in all their images. It's the only answer to my addictions.

Well shit, I coulda told you that. That's been my guess on how they're gonna boost sales in the US since last years price drop: a new color and a Wii Sports Resort and Wii Motion bundle. Though I pegged this as a holiday deal, not a Spring deal.

So.... what are they gonna do for the Fall now? Lol.

Nintendo did well with this. Not with the black Wii itself, just for keeping it a secret this long, unlike the price cut which was common knowledge far earlier than this.

I've been waiting for this. I'll probably end up getting one and then play through all of Muramasa again. I love that game.

Still got to work through the Metroid Prime Trilogy as well and Mario Galaxy 2 is coming soon.

Pretty good deal on the bundle. I'm good on the Wii right now but it's cool they are finally releasing the black console. I know Chris D is going to go bashit crazy over this thing because he's been screaming for a black one for ages. I think these console manufacturers should sell all of their stuff in multiple color schemes kind of like the PSP & DS. I know the 360 & PS3 have had some cool limited edition bundles but we need more color options as standard.

I like the different colors and the themed consoles. This should be a trend but for some reason most of this stuff isn't done here in the states. The limited edition bundles are usually saved for Asian territories.

Kudos Nintendo for finally releasing the mythical Black Wii.

I wish Nintendo would stop messin around and make it at least XBL easy to transfer dlc between consoles. It would make a black wii upgrade that much easier to swallow.

Was the difference changing from a tube TV to an LCD TV or are you actually talking about SD compared to HD?

I think that's where a lot of people get caught in this argument. Because honestly, I don't really care if I'm watching something in SD or HD on an LCD. But I can't stand trying to watch something on a tube TV anymore compared to an LCD. The colors always look too washed out now and it kinda hurts to look at.

Though, I find it makes House harder to watch in HD because at some point I start to subconsciously count the pores in Olivia Wilde's forehead and its just... THERE. Her gigantic forehead. But, her forehead doesn't frighten me in SD. Sorta works on the same premise as the book Gulliver's Travels with the giants and small people. Once you start to get that close to someone and all of their imperfections are right there in your face than even a beautiful person starts to look like a ghoul.

I already have a Wii and I love it. This looks so sexy it makes me want to buy it and the Motion Plus and Sports Resort at no extra charge make it ever better. But I already bought a few WiiWare and Virtual Console games. There's no way to transfer those is there?

It's the real deal, we got an inter-company email from our head of marketing admonishing us about giving out "publisher secrets" on the interwebz and saying we're not to comment on the validity of the bundle.
