Do you want a Mad Catz Tournament Edition FightStick, but ... bluer? Mad Catz and Aksys have just announced a BlazBlue: Continuum Shift FightStick, featuring imagery from the upcoming BlazBlue sequel. Like the latest revision of the Super Street Fighter IV stick, this controller features genuine Sanwa parts and internal storage for the 13-foot cable.

Only 3,000 sticks will be produced: 1,500 each for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The only place you'll be able to get one is through Aksys's online store. Pre-orders will ship in June for $199.99. With those limited quantities, if you want one, you should probably look into that soon. We're holding out for a BlayzBloo DS arcade stick.

I think for once I actually agree with you.

I would jump on if it included the game but just a stick alone when they have WAY better models out there is an absolute joke.

For that price there should be a hole I can put my "cable" into.

Anyone know if you can get one of these with no art? Just a base color?

Just go grab a Hori Real Arcade Pro 3 SA. Exact same parts ( sanwa) , just no artwork. I have one and it's great.

Just get either the SFIV or Marvel vs Capcom 2 one on sale and paint over it. They have all the same parts, identical, except you can find em on sale for 100 bucks.

Mad catz... I like it. But since I only Play PC games... I dont think I will buy :D

Um, the 360 controllers are required to work with pcs, no need to search for drivers unless you're using ps3 version.

Until someone scans the template and uploads it to SRK forums, in where you can get a TE stick for 99 bucks, paint the bezel blue, the sides black, and bam: blazblue fight stick.

I always thought that was really hard to do, but with so many people showing off nice to achingly beautiful custom jobs I guess it can't be that hard.

Gorgeous, but plain ol fight pads work ridiculously well for my tastes. I can't believe how much more ENJOYABLE playing fighters are without that original 360 controller!

I'd get a stick but I think $100+ is a bit much right now and those SF pads are quite pretty too!

Pretty much. its kind of hard for me to string combos together because I don't have sticks but besides that this game reeks of awesomeness. Characters or so deep gameplay wise. It sucks that their are only 12 characters but at least they are all unique unlike street fighter. The only reason not to like this game is because you just don't like fighting games in general.

ARGH!!! I have a 360 but don't like the white colored-ness of that version. Bummer...

Apparently, Microsoft requires that 3rd party manufacturers have the colored buttons to be actually colored starting this year.

Huh... didn't notice the buttons were different too. I can't say I like that either.

So why is this more expensive than the SF4/MVC2/SSF4 sticks?

Because it's limited to 1500 pieces per console.

I really want to like it as much as I like GG. Maybe with time.

I play Street Fighter and I finally want to get one of these tournament sticks (because the Tekken 6 wireless and the SFIV SE are keepin' me down!!!). The artwork or BlazBlue is really awesome, but $200 is pretty ridiculous if there's no difference between them and the SFIV TEs.

My question is...are any of these fighting sticks wireless? I have the DOA4 Hori one, which is wired, but would ante up for a wireless stick.

You guys do know these are the same as the street fighter IV sticks right?

Hey, does anyone know how th wireless joysticks hook up to the consoles? Is it just push the button and it connects with no extra plastic? Or is it like the crappy Rock Band set up on ps3 where you need horrendous little gray boxes dangling from the usb slots. I like my systems with nothing ugly dangling off of them, not a deal breaker or anything, but I am curious.

Where the hell do they get off charging as much for an arcade stick as you would pay for a console? What a joke, anyone who buys these things is a flipping moron.
