Holy effing christ, what's with all the gamers getting their panties in a ridiculously huge bunch?

Hell yes for 3D. Well, when it gets a bit cheaper, anyway. Cuz I'm poor. :( That option isn't in the poll either.

I agree. Most simply haven't tried it therefore are basing their opinion on an
irrelevant experience (movie) or a knee-jerk reaction to change.

3D at the theater doesn't work the same way as in games. You are basically forced to look at a focal point in movies because of predetermined camera focus. This is not a problem in games. In games, you are given a new dimension to gauge distance and scale with the ability to look at, focus, and interact with anything you want in a more natural fashion.

I am so tired of this 3D fad. In movies here and there, it's fine, but it's getting to the point where it's already being over saturated. But I don't want it at home for TV and I don't want it in my games.

Am I the only one who wants to play games in 3D, without larping? I dont even care about the glasses, just let me upgrade my existing Bravia so I can use the PS3 update...

Well by "just" I mean I got it last October.

I knew 3D was coming but at the time there wasn't quite the push from the TV manufacturers.

I still don't want 3D not would I pay extra for it now but it feels a bit like it will be pushed down everyone's throught because now everyone has too much money riding on it.

What about those 3d conversion kits for 120Hz TVs like for computer screens? Why isn't that becoming an option?

I'm going to wait. The first generation sets are cool and all, but I got a headache after watching 5 minutes of Monsters vs Aliens in 3D. The strobe effect of the shutter glasses is very bad for people like me that are highly photosensitive and I suspect that these things will cause a few seizures.

...I think I'll wait for the perfected 3D OLCD HDTV (no glasses) whenever the Playstation 4 is released.
