Awesome. Tragic Kingdom is some of their best work. Glad to see it hitting the track store!

Overused joke?

I'm just trying to understand why No Doubt is considered rock music... really, rock music these days is all wrong...

There has been none-rock music on Rock Band for some time now. Complaining of it is like crying over spilled milk at this point.

Fernando, this album was a HUGE alternative hit in the 90's. It was on pretty much every modern rock station, and it's mainly a ska album...which is a form of rock.

Tell me to shut up about my opinion? I happen to enjoy Lady Gaga. Laugh all you want, but don't tell me to STFU about my opinion.

You're entitled to your own opinion, but do you really need to mention her on EVERY Rock Band post? You've been doing this every since her DLC was announced for Rock Band, it's getting old.

Oh god, not this again. We're glad to have you back, Fernando...just not on the music threads. I don't like No Doubt either, but I definitely am not about to question their place in the lexicon of modern music. Now, Lady Gaga on the other hand...

Lady Gaga lives the life of a rockstar and No Doubt definitely is a rock band AND a talented one at that. Gwen Stefani is a lil wacky, yes, but after listening to Sublime's "Saw Red" I definitely appreciate her more

I hope they correct the "greatest hits" songs to reflect what albums they were originally on. You should never use "greatest hits" as the album title, and release date.

A HMX dev stated earlier that they cannot go back and change existing metadata for songs already released (which is weird because I could have sworn they changed the cover art for Nirvana's Nevermind tracks), so no, the album/date data will remain the same for those 5 songs regardless of how they're packaged.

I hope you're not refering to No Doubt, because if you are I'd like to see the mega successful band you put together. I always find it strange that faceless people with no talent or anything to offer the world have something to say about sucessful people. Don't like the music, thats fine, but 'no talent'?

What exactly were those boy bands though, shag? They were sining groups. And as far as I'm concerned, while I genuinely dislike their music, they could definitely carry a tune better than anyone I know. So, yeah . . . the hell's your point?

Oh, I get it, Deep Cuts has no overlap and is 1200 points, but for 1600 if you didn't get the Singles collection, it'll include ones like Spiderwebs and Don't Speak. Thanks!

oh hell yes. this is easily one of the 10 most influential and important rock albums of the 90s, not to mention it's really fun to listen to.

i especially love the instrumental breakdown at the end of the title track.

this should be fun! will buy.

whoa whoa whoa. I dug their songs back in the day, but "one of the 10 most influential and important rock albums of the 90's?" no way.
My shitty, just-thinking-of-it-now list:

Nirvana: Nevermind
Pixies: Surfer Rosa (technically 89 but come on)
Beck: Mellow Gold
Beastie Boys: Check Your Head
Rocket From the Crypt: Scream Dracula Scream
Jawbreaker: Dear You or 24 hour revenge therapy
Blur: parklife
RADIOHEAD: OK computer
Sonic Youth: Experimental Jet set, trash, and no star
Sleater Kinney: Dig me out

You could also add to that list
Guns 'N Roses - Use Your Illusion I + II
STP - Core or Purple
Soundgarden - Badmotorfinger or Superunknown
Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
and maybe a stretch, but: Silverchair - Frogstomp

Not a big fan of Jet Set, but it's cool that it made someone's list. I would of replaced it with Goo, or maybe even A Thousand Leaves.

Dude Metallica's black album sold a lot of records, but i wouldn't call it influential. Their influential albums would be like Mater of Puppets or Kill 'em all. Those albums came out in the 80's. The black album was their breakthrough, appealing to the mainstream album.
