Skate 3's first TV spot borrows inspiration from Middle-Earth

In a commercial for a skateboarding game, you might think that the folks featured wouldn't draw aesthetic inspiration from warring factions in a Tolkien story, but that's exactly what Skate 3's first TV advert brought to our minds this morning. Sure, there's a bit of gameplay video thrown in, but most of it centers on the much talked about online friend system by way of uniting skateboarders, apparently under an umbrella of brutality.

With a demo already available and the game's May 11 release date fast approaching, we're not sure you need much more to get you on board for Skate 3, but we'd suggest checking out the commercial just to see what happens at the end. Now you have to watch! Ha!

in all honesty, breaking a hardcore skater's skateboard does in fact take away what they call freedom. Nice Braveheart quote though.

Meh. "Hardcore" skaters usually wind up breaking their boards every couple weeks or so. It can get expensive.

oh...i forgot how mine did it. I think since I use firefox the first time I put in my info it asked me if I wanted it to remember my info for this site. Maybe if you click the remember me thing when you next add a comment it will work. Sorry, i don't really think I can help you. =(

every time they send you an email to confirm your comment, they give you your site password in the email. enter that and your email address and your good to go.
