So, the Nintendo Channel, which you watch on your Nintendo Wii, advertises the fact that you can now get a new Nintendo Wii.

Since I can't transfer my VC games and WiiWare titles, who is their target audience again?

The suckers that have waited since before launch for a black Wii. If I didn't already have a Wii, I'd get this, but there's really no point. Still, there are idiots (sorry if that's you) who are willing to buy a new Wii just to get it in black.

This is ridiculous..I mean I remember when they showed the colors, green, red, and blue the first time they showed the wii trailer. All we got all those 4 years was white.I mean I understand producing other colors cost, but it's 2010!!For the VC games come on..that's just ridiculous, you can not even put your games on another system. You have to buy it all over again.I think the wii is a great system.I mean you could push over the limit to make new things that would grab more gamers.More wifi capabilities, applications that will be used alot of time.No Mii contest and all. They made wii speak, well?why not make alot of games that could use it?I know alot of you are going to say I am being a troll, but the wii has still good games. They just need to push more with the functionality.I can't wait to see the next gen system.

1) Trust me, there are gamers out there who felt white was not "hardcore" enough. They will now be interested.

2) So we didn't get a rainbow of colored Wiis? You mean, sometimes game companies have ideas that don't come to fruition? *shocked face*

Given the choice between Motion Plus, Wii Speak and more colors besides black and white? Yea, I think Nintendo is doing the right thing... and certainly doesn't deserve the firestorm of complaints they're getting just for announcing a sweet bundle. That's what happens when a console has been out a few years!

But no, it's Nintendo so everything they do must be met with impossible standards and the criticism that follows.

Gamers in 2008: "We want to talk online, have better motion controls and a black Wii like the Japanese get!!"
Nintendo in 2008: "Here's WiiSpeak so you can talk during online games."
Gamers in 2009: "We want better motion controls and a black Wii like the Japanese get!!"
Nintendo in 2009: "Here's the MotionPlus with 1:1 motion capability."
Gamers in 2010: "We want a black Wii like the Japanese get!!"
Nintendo in 2010: "Ok! Here it is! Your black Wii! Aaaaand we've thrown in all this other sweet stuff so you're getting more bang for your buck! We could have just sold you the same darn thing in black, but we've announced a whole new sweet bundle!"
Gamers: ".... wha? me? I bought a Wii in 2007. I was never really gonna buy this .... I just kinda like b*tching about stuff."

3) Do PS3/60s transfer downloadable content/games?

1) Cool evidence, bro.

2) Lacklustre support for thinly thought out ideas is the main problem here. Whereas every single game for the Xbox has online communication enabled for all video games, this being built in through its superior networking infrastructure, the Wii has Wii Speak which around a handful of games support. There’s no point vomiting nonsense like "Here's WiiSpeak so you can talk during online games" if only a miserly amount of games support it. Let’s Wii Speak through PES or Capcom Verses. Let’ see how far we get.

Ditto for motion control plus, the zapper, the balance board, and any other crappy plastic I've forgotten about.

3) Yes.

Just get a black vinyl skin. It'll cost you like £5-7 and you can apply it yourself. I did that like three years ago and it still looks good.
