In some ways, those little monsters are kind of adorable

Not the brood mothers, they are just gross.

God, why did they even include those? Sure it makes sense for something that gives birth to thousands of monsters to have dozens of breasts, but did we really have to see them?! The genlocks though are almost like cuddly little goblins

At least they didn't show the dozens of vaginas they must have.

Awakening pretty much killed any interest for DLC.

My DLC stuff doesn't transfer to the expansion
and my expansion stuff doesn't transfer to my core game.

The expansion should've been the end of it if they were making that many decisive choices.

Well, how was the dlc supposed to carry over? They were just gonna drag a golem and a mountainside keep into an expansion? You already played those, so who cares? Was losing your fancy armor really that big of deal too? It got replaced by even better and cooler stuff.

I think most folks consider an "expansion" to still contain / be 100% compatible with original content. New Releases / Sequels do not have this expectation.

The idea of me bringing a Golem bieng odd makes just as much sense as my Warden going 'Well I've got all this great gear, butttt I don't want to bring it. For no reason.'

Because it's building my character, because most people have some sort of attachment to the character they spent the most time on, just in the context of that game. So I went through all this with that character, but now I didn't? That's pretty cheap, it's like if in Return of the Jedi Luke's hand was just fine and not robotic.

Not to mention the Sentinel Armor and sword bug they still haven't fixed. I love the game but how can I be expected to pay when I can't even take full advantage of the new expansions.

@Xoonaka I don't think that's true at all really. Most expansions I can think of are separate discs, and even separate exe's like Dark Crusade which doesn't even require Dawn of War to play. Take Warcraft 3 and The Frozen Throne for example. The Frozen Throne doesn't include Reign of Chaos' campaign, why should it? Granted those are two very different genres, but saying they should have decided not to make any more DLC because your items (and let's face it, only the DLC ones) dont carry over is ridiculous

I agree that DLC stuff not carrying over is lame (my character started Awakening completely naked), but I'm guessing this DLC stuff will, cause doesn't the RtO stuff carry over?

Either way, excited for this. Dragon Age DLC has been not bad so far, hopefully it gets better.

Awesome Bioware but I think you missed some Mass Effect DLC... or expansion pack, or something. Im sure you planned for that game to be a great success so if you wanted to keep building upon it I'm sure you got something planned right? Why not just tell us right now?

They pretty well already poisoned the waters on the DLC, I'm not sure why large amounts of people would go for it.
