While I would never want Joystiq to turn into cheapassgamer or something, I do love when you guys post deals this good! Thanks for the heads up! Bayonetta here I come!

You will definitely enjoy it. I know I was glued to that game for quite some time after release.

I got Bayonetta for $20 used at Family Video, so if you don't mind slightly used (disc is in excellent condition) and you have a Family Video around, they tend to have some decent prices. I saw Left 4 Dead 2 and Bioshock 2 for $30 as well.

I'm going to second the Family Video thing. I have one a few doors down, and I've picked up numerous games from them for under $30, some that were only out a few months. They always clean them, and then you have 30 days to detect any flaws and exchange it.

IMO, it was worth it at 60. Bought it day one and dont regret it. Very fun game, and very long. Took me like 40 hours to beat it.

I'd rather pay $20 for a couple hours of enjoyment over $30 for 20+ hours of enjoyment and 30 hours of boredom. Just saying.

That's your solely opinion. I've been playing Final Fantasy XIII since release date and right now I'm reaching around 95 hours and I'm still having a lot of fun, but that's just because I really enjoy Final Fantasy saga.

If you are not that into Japanese RPG you will get bored pretty quickly.

Cheers!

Saw this on SlickDeals this morning, nice!

Think I'll finally pick up Bayonetta (for 360) and Darksiders (for PS3)...

Looks like FF13 is out of stock already. Good for the couple minutes it lasted I suppose.

Just buy these games on kmart.com. The shipping is cheap and most of the games(Final Fantasy XIII, Bayonetta, Darksiders, etc) are still in stock.

Get 'em while they last!

I've been waiting for Bayonetta to go down to $20-30 for awhile now. Didn't think there would ever be a Final Fantasy XIII for $30, at least not for 6 more months or more.

I think I'll pick up both Final Fantasy XIII(PS3) and Bayonetta(Xbox 360) tonight.

Forget picking the games up in-store, get 'em online!

Is there a trick to getting the sale?
I clicked on Darksiders and Metro 2033, and Kmart.com has them listed for $40 and $60, respectively...
So, now I'm more disappointed than I was before reading this post.

And this makes $15 bucks for 3 maps and sloppy seconds look even more ridiculous. (or justifiable dependant on your view of Acti)

Why are you guys still heckling Nier. It's been said many times that Justin was playing the game wrong. He should have went to spot marked with a big X on the map. The whole thing would have taken just a few seconds. If he'd failed he'd have gotten the required fishes after three failed attempts. But instead of using his brain he put a silly video online and now the internet is convinced Nier is the worst game of the year. Great job, Joystick ....

Most people here seemed to hate it already - just look through all the comments here: http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/20/nier-makes-everyone-feel-better/#comments - so it's not really a big deal.

I'm still gonna play it. =D

I can't seem to get the K-mart site to work. The electronics part is loading but it appears that page doesn't exist.

It's about as enjoyable as going to a K-Mart.

That's about right.

K-Mart is stuck in the 90's, I think, considering the look/condition of most of their stores.

Which I think is amusing, considering how well they've done with evolving Sears over the years, while they've let K-Mart go to hell.

From time to time though, they do have good bargains. For games, that is. Not just underwear.

Most of these deals are dead thanks to Slickdeals.net.

Those a$$holes camp out deals all day.

Rule of thumb. When a deal is posted on Joystiq, it's already been on slickdeals for hours. Ergo, it's DOA.

Been keeping my eye on a price drop or sale for Bayonetta ever since it was determined that its fraternal twin brother, Dante's Inferno, was sickly and stupid. Assuming that either your site works or I can find it locally, thanks, Kmart!

Wow, KMart does it again. I remember buying World at War last year for $20, best deal I've ever seen for a popular recent title like that. The fact they're practically doing it again this year with more games makes me wish I waited on buying some of the games on that list...

For 30, I wouldnt mind owning Metro, I usually avoid buying games without multiplayer, never seems to make sense to buy a game Im gonna play for maybe 9 hours for 60 dollars and never touch again. Though I did buy Mass effect 1 and 2.... but those are exceptions.

I'd bite for Bayonetta if I didn't already own it, though.

I placed an order and the discount did not kick in at final check out like it states. I had to call customer service only for them to tell me they will research it and I'll get a response in 24-48 hours. I'm thinking about canceling it and just driving the 10 miles to the closest K-mart in town.
