The worst thing about Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is having to write headlines about it. The temptation to say that "screenshots have been unleashed" or "a new trailer has been unleashed" is palpable, but it just sounds weird when the word's already right there in the title like that.
As you can see, when we attempted to communicate that the game's official Facebook group had revealed its release date as October 26, our brains panicked and instead called up a reference to Star Trek. We hope that, in time, you can forgive us.

Will it be worth getting on PC? The last one was utterly awful and suffered optimization issues while looking worse than a PS2 game.
Seriously, my GTX275 can hug on Crysis at full settings at 30-50fps depending on the day and state of my PC and is capable of running just about any modern game. I don't expect something that runs at 800x600/1024x768 and offers me no customization whatsoever to be giving me 25fps that drops to 5-10 whenever there's anything happening on the screen. Avoid and get it on a console.

How many account you up to now Cap? Personally, I think it's a funny bit that you pretend to be all these different people.

HELL YA.
Some technical flaws aside, the first game was awesome.

I loved the story, environments and over the top use of force powers. The DLC was bland, I'll give you that.

The first one was short or horribly paced because once I got to the end I thought the game was just beginning/picking up in story, fun, and level design. Talk about having blue balls at the end...
However, it was still pretty fun for what it was. If it could have imbued a little more Jedi Academy, it'd have been perfect. Still, HOPEFULLY, a sequel can only make things all the better if, you know, they actually plan to make a new, rebuilt or regrouped game instead of a glorified expansion pack.

@Vcize I don't think 6 hours is a good length for a overhyped $60 game.

I think you meant to say one of the best Star Wars (canon) stories to come out post RotJ. This > Ep 1-3 + Clone Wars TV show. It's tied with Genndy Tartakovsky's shorts. Awesome either way though.

You probably know a lot more about Star Wars than I do. So I will take your word for it. I just know it's one of the best games I have played within the Star Wars universe's entirety.

Its no where near the best star wars game, its probably one of the worst. Lucasarts used to make extremely good games, Jedi Knight 2 blows this wannabe out of the water.

"Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is best
Star Wars Battlefront is 2nd best
Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader is 3rd best"
God I wholly disagree with this list.
Jedi Academy was the worst of the Jedi Knight games.
Battlefront was a horrible, boring, broken game
Rogue Squadron was the same as all the rogue leader games.
KotOR was fun, but I think it was so highly regarded because Phantom Menace came out. It's really not an amazing game. Not a bad game, but very overrated.
TFU was a great game with a great story. Starkiller could fkking destroy any other Jedi no problem.

is a sequel to the good ending, as Vader cant die due to this being between episode 3 and 4.
And this sequel occurs 6 months after the events of TFU. How ya might be thinking. Clones

I can't really complain about the spoiler. The game has been available for a LONG time.... cheap too. My own fault.

The good ending was obviously the canon ending, and it was awful.
Glad they're retconning it. But even so, there was no clear evidence he was actually dead, I mean the explosion didn't even scratch the Emperor.

@Punkrawk Bbob: I can accept your disregard for the prequel trilogy because thats become tragically common among nostalgic fans or the orginal trilogy... but to say that the clone wars tv show is bad is just comical. you must not have watched too many episodes if you think thats the case. any fan of star wars should love that show (though i will say that the 12-year-old togruta in a tank-top is a bit much.) ....on topic, i wish i could get the first force unleashed for something less than $40. why does it still cost so much?

yeah, true. but ive always been looking at the ultimate sith edition. i just did some math though and the non-sith edition + dlc on xbox marketplace is just about equal to the sith edition alone. which means theyre not giving you any kind of deal on that dlc. ha! sheesh. so, are the two bonus levels worth it?

I tried to like everything. I used to think that I liked Attack of the Clones, then Revenge of the Sith. Then I realized it was just all flash and no substance on repeated viewings. There are good parts (mostly just saber duels, Anakin vs Obi-Wan was epic)... but overall they're weak. So no, I'm not just sheep hating on it because it's cool. I just realized after watching the original trilogy and rewatching the new ones, they really aren't that good.
And no, I didn't like the Clone Wars cartoon. I watched the film and was bored out of my mind. The only entertainment I took from it was recognizing how badly it shit on the established mythos. It's just crap. Sorry.
