crazy fans, that's how. trying anything and everything. for example the number of glitches people found in halo 2 is astounding. one of the campaign designers said when he hid the scarab gun (a plasma rifle that shoots scarab shots) on top of this bridge way up high and far away from anything accessible to the player, he thought it would take forever for people to find it, if it was found at all. but, a week after the game launched, someone found it by using a glitch to get a banshee past a certain loading point where it would normally disappear.

as for this video, the midair assassination is awesome, as it looks like it's a special animation for that circumstance. i'll also have to try that armor lock thing...

I'm sure most of it is people playing the game and noticing weird bugs and things happening during it. Then they just take a little bit to try and recreate it. Don't just assume these kids are just losers who don't do anything other than dick around in teh Haloz.

I did that aerial assasination before I even saw this and it's awesome to pull of in the game. The rocket redirect was the most insane thing in this vid.

I've seen at least 2 different ground assassination animations and one air assassination animation, been on both the wrong and right end of them. The air assassination works when the target is jumping too.

I did not know the beam bounced rockets though. That's some cool news.

Also... I'd like to add that you can grenade stick someone who is armor locked, so time it right, stick the target, and they get a present waiting for them when they come out of lock.

anyone know the name if the song, it was pretty cool.
also anyone want to get into a big group so you can get used to the maps
i would like to find out the locations of some of the power weapons on the maps, and the general layout of them also.
