Guitar Hero may make more money....but I bet if you factor in all the sales from Rock Band DLC and RBN sales the sales figures might look a bit different.

I obviously have too, but I barely regret it. It still provides me with tons of fun, but the games I could've boughten.

I still have the first rockband and I agree with the two above, I have spent tons of money on content. We still have rockband parties about once every other month or so and have a blast.

All sarcasm aside, I actually am surprised by a new Tony Hawk game considering how badly Ride tanked in sales.

Look at the bright side, this is the first announced Guitar Hero this year.

They would have released three titles by now under the old regime.

It's sad that the first sensible, level headed comment on this article is seven posts in. Wow. I swear, they could announce they got exclusive rights to Zepplin and they'll be giving the game away for free and you people will still flame them like a bunch of fanboys.

BIGGEST SURPRISE OF 2010!...

Anyways, since I love both GH/RB titles (and rhythm games in general), I want to see the tracklist to see if this is buy or not.

Rock Band has King Crimson? NO
Rock Band has Iggy Pop? NO

Yeah, RB is a better game in almost everything, but both games have different songs.

New features to help keep the game fresh...they don't have to be thrown out quite as often as Activison does it but it has to happen.

If the track list is good enough I may buy it when it hits $20 like I did with Guitar Hero 5. I wouldn't complain about 80+ songs for twenty bucks.

Activision; read my lips: SUPPORT DJ HERO DLC!

The first game died due to lack of support like it's older brother. That, and half of the sets being stupid mixes.
