LittleBigPlanet 2 revealed in June Game Informer

While Gears of War 3 may hold the cover spot of the next issue of Game Informer, the June 2010 issue will also feature a "huge feature" on LittleBigPlanet 2, Sony's not-yet-announced-but-very-real platforming sequel.

Considering the numerous leaks surrounding the title, we're unsurprised that the game's existence is confirmed by an uneventful preview of a preview. If Sony shows this off at its E3 press conference, just try to act shocked, okay?

actually pizza is the most healthy junk food so it's not that bad for you.

Dairy, Fiber, Vegetables, and Protein! Just sop up the grease that's on it. If you do that to every slice of pizza you remove an average of 4.5 grams of fat. Over a year, that's a LOT of grease.

Assuming they're true, here are some mind blowing details found in the issue. You can make almost anything, and even change the core gameplay mechanics and physics of the game.

Also, I must say that I love how Gameinformer handled their reboot. Their new covers are great.

And that Gears 3 cover especially is very sexy.

I'd rather have a wallpaper of that completely rad picture from Gears of War 3. Not to talk down on LBP 2 or anything, I'm just reeeeeally excited for Gears 3.

Yeah, I did it on my own, took me 15 minutes or so. Guess I could have taken even more time to make it perfect but if you don't have the original picture you won't notice my small mistakes (I hope).
I was just bored and since I need to practice my Photoshop skills... Anyway, I'm glad I helped at least one person :)

I had the same thought, then I realized Little Big Planet wasn't actually receiving a gritty makeover. Boy, is my face red.

I don't really want to see a gritty reimagining of SACKboy...

That or they feel there is sufficient coverage on GoW3 that they don't need to further talk about it.

Well, we know Gears of War 3 exists. We even saw a trailer! But, LittleBigPlanet 2 was never confirmed. (In fact, it still hasn't been announced by Sony.)

I can't forgive GI for that last cover (Bulletstorm). Holy crap, what a degradation of my eyeballs. And Gear of War 3, GI? Really? Somebody help me out here, when's the last time GI had a PS3 or Wii exclusive for their cover? Epic Mickey for Wii? What for PS3? Ah, well, whaddayado?

Yup, Ezio, good call. The last PS3 exclusive cover was God of War 3 (GoW 3! I'm sensing a trend), back in March of '09 (and two months before was Uncharted 2).
Console exclusives since then:
Epic Mickey (Wii)
Crackdown 2 (360)
Halo: Reach (360)
Portal 2 (360)
Gears of War 3 (360)

other than uncharted and god of war, what on the ps3 is exclusive and deserving of a cover?

in the past few months that is.

also, portal isn't exclusive to the 360, that's like saying that tf2 is exclusive to the 360.

Well, there's Heavy Rain. That totally should have got a cover.

To be perfectly honest I just want a cover story for a game I am excited for. Bulletstorm? Gears? Halo: Reach? Portal 2? If you like or want those games/series, that's fine, they are just not in my immediate wheelhouse (though I'll admit to wanting to play the Portal stuff sooner or later)

It's like that magazine stalks me and asks itself: "what does this dude not want to read about?" Actually, that's also kinda how I describe my reasons for not wanting almost any 360 exclusive. Except Alan Wake - I want me some of that.

good game sure, but it isn't popular enough to be given a cover.

covers are for big sellers and widely popular games, because it sells magazines.
