What I liked most of FFIX is that your characters has set roles. Vivi is a black mage regardless of what you do. I don't have to worry I'm building my guys the wrong way only to be screwed by a boss.

Such was my thinking after playing FF 6/7/8. FF9 threw me for a loop with its 'traditional roles' at first. It certainly got me to think a bit more about who was in the party.

I've got a PS3, and have thinking of getting a PSP. If i download a PS1 game onto my PS3, can I also play it on my PSP? If so, that would probably finally get me to take the plunge into getting a second portable as I got a DS about 2 years ago. Also, if I can play downloaded PS1 games on my PSP, do any of the other downloadable PS3 games play on PSPs that are "linked" up to them? Thanks for your help guys.

1) PSone Classics can be played on up to five PS3s and five PSPs that are activated under your account.
2) All PS3s can play PSone discs.
3) You can put a PSone disc into your PS3 and play it on your PSP with a feature called "Remote Play". Here's a link to the info on the official PS website:
