Why, might you ask, is today officially the best and greatest and arguably most radical Mother's Day of all time? Did it have anything to do with the actual events of the day? Are we perhaps celebrating the very concept of motherhood? Did we finally land that long sought-after appearance on America's Best Dance Crew? No, no and no -- we're simply thrilled by all the green seen in the figures below.

The gaming populace in Japan is having an even better Mother's Day, it seems, as they're all likely still playing the two games responsible for a majority of these upward movements: Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. In fact, we bet that someone, somewhere in Japan, is playing one of these games right now, when they should be enjoying a nice family dinner, and honoring their mother. Cut that out right now, young man. She deserves better.
