As promised, Ubisoft has started its marketing efforts for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. An e-mail from the game's Abstergo Industries barely attempts to extend the fiction into reality, linking to a Flash-filled Ubisoft promotional website. Presumably, the teaser site provides insight into some of the weapons that may be used in the sequel's new multiplayer component, including an axe, fan, syringe, dagger and claw. (Solve the puzzle on the website to unveil yet another weapon: the switch blade.)
Some concept art (placed after the break) is buried in the site, possibly offering a clue as to how the story of Brotherhood will unfold. We're pretty certain these are rows of Animus machines waiting to be activated, but perhaps you can provide your own conspiracy theories.
I've always thought it's a pretty douchey thing to say "Here's the answer to this puzzle. It's pretty simple actually" like they're god's gift to cuneiform. We get it, you're awesome and this was trivial for you.
And while I'm drinking rageahol, I'd also like to say -- what's with the spoiler on the switchblade?! I know they're marketing spoilers, but still. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills!
Surprisingly well phrased and coherent. Shocking that this is the same man who wrote all those heavily abbreviated, grammar-less, typo-filled e-mails to Lucy....
I'm still not clear. Is this a multiplayer expansion for AC2? Or is it supposed to be AC3? Seems like a very short turnaround time for a full sequel but I dunno.
AC2 was better then the first in gameplay but i don't like the story in either one of them. now saying this i don't think i'm gonna really bother buying anymore ( only bought AC2 Limited Edtion cause it was $30 NEW )
the glyphs that appear then disappear need to be put in along with the glyph that is on the email that you get. I can only remember a few off of the top of my head. They are : the eye in the triangle with lines coming off it (this is in the email), the three circles, the three triangles.
