Great side story to GTA4, along with Lost and Damned. Definitely enjoyed how they worked all the games in together.

Still waiting for the $10 sweet spot for each of them. I loved everything about GTA4, but with Red Dead coming out soon it's going to take more than a $5 cut for me to focus on GTA again.

Game companies seem to be confused as to what a "deal" is these days, especially in this economy.

If people weren't so damn flaky on craigslist, I would be able to get more games off there, it is like pulling teeth with some of those people to get them to email you back.

Also isn't all of GTA 4 like $20 on it's own?

I always wanted to know, did anyone (besides me) experience really slow texture loading in the Ballad of Gay Tony (or The Lost and Damned) in the Episodes of Liberty City version? Texture streaming was extremely slow on my 360, even when the game was installed on the hard drive. And by slow I mean slow when compared to GTAIV running on disc :(

I did have this issue at some point. It wasn't the game though. It was a crapload of dust in my console. I opened mine up, cleaned it out and it worked like new. I noticed everything ran smoother and faster.

That was just me though, and I wouldn't recommend taking your console apart if you don't know what the hell you're doing.

I bought the retail copy of the episodes for $20 after applying a $20 Amazon gift card I received for buying MW2. Both stories are excellent. Well worth the full retail price in my eyes. I've found lately though... I'm starving for news on the next GTA game. Any tidbit of info, PLEASE. GRRRRRRRRRR.

I hope they take a long hiatus (maybe a couple years) from GTA, and focus on other games. Can't wait for RDR. I think they should think about a new setting for GTA, give it time, ponder on what works and what doesn't, then go from there.

Red Dead Redemption is a day 1 purchase for me. It should hold me over. Still, I'd like to see the next GTA game by Q4 of next year AT THE LATEST. I think they got it right with GTA4. It's a near perfect game to me. I'd just loosen up the controls a tad, speed up the characters, and turn the "realism" just one TINY notch toward how San Andreas was. I'm fairly sure I'll get what I want.

Ballad of Gay Tony is so good. The weapons are awesome, the new vehicles are nice, the parachute is BACK!

Looks beautiful on my i7 and 4850 hd computer.

BEST GTA CHARACTERS SINCE VICE CITY

I thought Ballad of Gay Tony was better than GTA4. That was how GTA was supposed to be, a lot of epic cinematic missions which GTA4 seemed to completely lack, it was almost like playing San Andreas again.

well....

A) i have no interest in playing games online..... I play games for the storylines not to listen to whiney people on xbox live calling each other every racist/sexist term under the sun..... i play games to relax and escape from having to tolerate lots of a******es in my daily life.....

B) i only use my xbox for a handfull of games i cant get on the PC... its not my main gaming machine...

So why would i waste $50 a year on a service that serves no real purpose to my needs ???

all this "deal" is, is another teaser to try to bribe people to get the "gold"... F**K microsoft !!!!

you my friend are a utter moron.... do you have an attention span of 2 mins or something ? First you tell me to quit whineing and get live, i explain live doesnt suit my purposes because its mainly for multiplayer, then seem to go on a tirade because i mention im mainly a PC gamer...... what got your back in a twist ? did a pc rape your mother or something ?

And from a business standpoint excluding the silver people out of the sale is a bit of a brainless move, as its excluding a large portion of sales.... heres a tip "sell a product for a bit less + large amount of people buying the product = more sales, so more profit" buy excluding the silver members its excluding a large part of the xbox userbase thus making me feel unloved, so unloved im tempted to sell my xbox and see if sony will give me the love i need....

Ohh the old "ha ha your a dick because your complaining about microsoft and yet you use windows on your pc :P" comeback..... your not very original arnt you ? Windows is the dominant operating system, i have no choice to use it, all pc games run on windows. i suppose i could run linux and wine but screw that, sacrifice performance and compatibly just to send a FU to microsoft ? And who says microsoft even have my money from my install of windows ? :P

The whole point is that's in part of the incentive to get Gold. Your whining makes no sense.
