The game was flawed and a bit of a mess in places.... but I still had a great deal of fun with it.

I will wait to see it to Judge it, because as we speak Jake Gyllenhaal is cast in the lead role in the movie Price of Persia. Jamie Foxx has an academy award Bruce Willis is freaking John McClane.
If the plot is good, and they keep the gritty feel of the franchise I have no reason not to give it a go.

Sometimes the actors you think are trash pull out a good movie. I really don't want this to suck, Bruce Willis' movies are a part of my childhood. The game was trash and I see no reason as to why they're making a movie based on it but I will wish for it to be good so I don't have to watch another crap movie with Bruce Willis in it. D:

I can't help but think that it would make a better (and much more profitable) film if they removed the Kane & Lynch branding and renamed the characters.

Perfect idea. Make a parody type. Cane and Limp, involving 2 old guys and instead of finding lost money they find their dentures.

This movie sounds like a Red Box rental,especially since the miscasting of Jamie Foxx as Lynch .it has not thing to due w/ foxx race or anything . i just feel that if you create something ,be it a video game or book . you don't change the characters to appease people or to make your self feel good or do it cause you think people will hold you or place you in a different category from the others .this casting of foxx is as bad as Katie Holmes being in batman begins.

it's been said already... but the actors for this make NO sense at all. Ok, both actors are fine for certain roles but I wish they would have found two actors that better fit the part of Kane and Lynch...
I thought the idea of a Kane and Lynch movie would be at least promising (wasn't holding my breath or anything.) I don't think the game was great, but i do think the characters in it were very compelling. Most game protagonists are very two dimensional. Kane and Lynch, just from a single image, it looks like there is a lot under the surface.
