Not if you play by the actual rules, collecting cheese and building the structure as the game progresses. Of course, no one reads the rules and ends up building the thing before the game even starts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNLuq0lW50k

Yeah, if you play properly, it takes a while to play...

But everybody knows that the fun in Mouse Trap is just setting up the trap and setting it off.

Is this a PSN download? If it's on a disc, will we have to pay an extra fee to play it online?

How come we haven't gotten Family Game Night 2 Yet on Ps3 or 360?

Why dont they just add these extra games to the first one as DLC?

Glad I'm not the only one. I read this and was hoping to hear that I missed the release of 2. Weren't we supposed to see Jenga, Connect 4X4, and Pictureka for 360 and PS3?

Are you really overly anxious to play Jenga on the 360 or PS3?

If they come out, great but I'm not personally all that interested in any of the titles from the second game.

However, if Clue & LIFE come to XBLA? I'm sold, even at the $10 price tag they sell them at.

Mcmax3000, I am curious about the second one too. I get these games to play with my family, and thus the more I can get hold of the better. They are light and friendly and so nobody gets offended or has to have special skills at using a console.

That being said - I can't wrap my head around them using twister as one of the games.

Yes. You did it...twice.

ELLIPSIS USED FOR DRAMATIC EFFECT!

Agreed. I really enjoyed the PS1 version of LIFE, especially as a family game. I don't know if I would buy this as a disc but if it's downloadable as part of the current Hasbro Family Game Night on 360, I'd definitely pay $10 for that.

Where's #2 for the 360? And I'm still upset after the XBLA sale when the price dropped to $5 a game, and I bought 5 of them. The next week, the disc based version was on sale on Best Buy for $20. Arrggh!

As said earlier, not if you play Mouse Trap by the rules. By the rules, the trap is set up bit by bit as players work their way around the board. You don't set up the whole trap right away, and race to the the end to be trapped.

since 2 (wii) has stuff like Operation and Jenga, they may be waiting for Natal/Move to come out before adding those to XBLA/PSN...perhaps Twister already works for that shit...

I haven't bought any of the other game compilations, although I have thought about it. However, with this one having Clue, Life, and Mouse Trap, I will seriously have to think about picking this one up. My girls and I have at one time or another had all three of these games, but they like to pull games apart and use the parts separately and use them for other "imagination" games, so the parts all slowly get lost. Plus, since we all love to play the Wii together, this would just be a perfect compilation.

But...I have to agree with the article...TWISTER??? WTF???

It'd be great to see the Master Detective edition of Clue as a video game, but I have a feeling Hasbro hasn't even considered it.

Monopoly is something that they can exploit as a disc based release over & over again so you're probably not going to see it as part of Hasbro Family Game Night.

How does CLUE work if you have four people in the same room looking at the same screen? It's based on each player having a private stack of cards, notes, etc.
