Rumor: 250GB PS3 bundled with MLB '10 in June

An alleged Target inventory listing appears to indicate the impending arrival of a new PlayStation 3 bundle. According to the printout (seen above) and a photograph of a scanner (posted after the break), the bundle includes a 250GB PS3 Slim and a copy of MLB '10 The Show for $349.99. It'll hit store shelves on June 13. We've contacted a number of Target locations, one of which was able to confirm that the listing was in their database.

Given the recent deal struck up between the MLB and Sony to stream live baseball games directly to the console, an MLB '10 bundle seems like an appropriate promotion. Regardless, we've contacted Sony to see if we can get a comment about this listing's authenticity.

Update: A Sony representative responded, saying "we don't comment on rumors or speculation about our business."

Hmm, a month before the All-Star game....

Price sounds reasonable.

PS3's are sold out everywhere in my area. It's been a pain tracking one down.

Yeah its crazy that it not the show cunning with it.

Maybe Sony, instead of packaging bundles with flawed games you instead, try to fix those games with those such problems. MLB the show, while a great game, has NUMEROUS class A bugs as well as TERRIBLE online issue STILL yet resolved. Just read some of your official forum posts, jesus. The record keeping is a failure, heck even the rooms you join don't correctly display the users currently in the room. Quitters and Dc'ers getting wins when you are up 5-0+ and many, MANY other issue... not to mention ever since they implemented the 1st inning rule the last year if you even score 1 run on the opponent he usually quits. FIX YOUR DAMN GAME before you start packaging a game with so many problems.
