Seriously, who doesn't love John Cleese? But I digress, when you throw out things like 'most iconic Monty Python character ever' you should always be talking aobut Graham Chapman. Most iconic living Monty Python character, John Cleese? Most definitely.
Game sounds so fantastic though now, love the even more exaggerated art style this time around too, even better than the original Fable, and it seemed almost subdued in II. Can't wait for Fable III!
By the by, where perchance would one acquire one of those brilliant Quill tablet pens?

If you're going to go with most iconic living...it's really a toss up of Cleese and Idle. I'm a little more partial to Eric Idle though.

I hope he helps hold my interest so I actually finish this Fable.

Ditto dude.
The hand holding in Fable 2 threw me off badly, yet at the same time it's extremely difficult to get to the next objective without the fairy trail. And don't get me started on the ridiculous UI. The character/inventory/map menu is so confusing.
The game didn't feel very rewarding, but I vow to finally finish it over the summer.

Yeah, I'd like to finish it, really I would. I just got kind of bored with it. Much of that may have been my fault, I was messing with the economy and trying to build a family and find all collectibles... I'll get back to it soon enough, I think.

John Cleese? Fantastic!
Is he enough to make me want to play what looks to be yet another horrible iteration of a stunningly horrible series? Not even remotely...

Fable TLC is still THE BEST Fable. Fable's combat was much more fast based then in Fable 2. None of that charge up your spells bullshit. Now with the new UI it looks like they're trying to slow it down even more. Instead of a quick menu jump to change clothing, you have to go into your room. New RTSish UI. Peter is trying to do to much at ones and is going to fall short... Sorry :( TLC all the way!

I can't help but think that this 3D interface they are championing, looks a lot like what other people would call "A World Map", and the one people don't like too much as they navigate it by moving a pointer about rather than actually experiencing the world.
But i could be wrong here :p

I don't understand this whole 3D interface. There's honestly nothing wrong with an average menu.
