Check out the Palm Pre. The Pre has excellent games that really use the 3D processor.

Yea but the Palm Pre is no Android. More games Android and you'll conquer the world!

Yeah, I bought this the other day on my Backflip and it wasn't very good. Thankfully I uninstalled it for a refund minutes afterwards. Android is already the better OS; now if only it could get the games needed.

I still don't understand why there's no Guitar Hero app on iPhone/iPod Touch. The Rock Band app plays pretty well, and Tap Tap Revenge is addicting, but there's definitely more room for serious competition there.

There's the problem, you said SERIOUS competition. You can't take Guitar Hero mobile games seriously

GH3 Mobile was pretty laggy on my ancient phone, but would be pretty smooth on an iPhone. Or they could probably even port over the Guitar Hero On Tour engine and just simplify the charts down to compensate for the lack of strumming.

The Guitar Hero game on the Palm Pre uses real music, not MIDI. The Pre is a kick-ass gaming machine. I played N.O.V.A. against my friend over WiFi. He uses an iPad, and I the Pre. I still kicked his ass. ;-)
