The first Legends of Heroes game was so terrible...

Were next two any better?

The first three games in the series were pretty bad, altogether. I love turn base style games, but even these were text book definitions of mediocre. The second trilogy is actually pretty good and in fact, the last two games are two umds apiece, respectively. I mangaged to play a demo of the first game in the second trilogy and I have to say it was a vast improvement in all aspects. I can't wait for these!!!!!!!!!

III and IV were remakes of DOS games made before 1994.

Okay, I will be buying all the Ys games, especially Oath at Felghana (since the original side-scrolling version of III was my first exposure to the franchise).

You know you're a nerd when you first read Nihon Falcom as Nathan Fillion.

Now if only that fan translation of Ys V would come out...
This will probably sell me a PSP, at any rate, even if I'm still waiting on V's translation before playing 6 & 7.

There is no apostrophe in Ys, you fools!

And it rhymes with "peace." No leading consonant sound.

Roar, grumble, rant, rave, gnashing of teeth and hurling of large objects, etc.
