It's a fact: If you choose any of Halo: Reach's armor loadouts which don't give you the ability to soar through the air, raining death down upon your enemies below, then you're a complete and total chump. Virtual Shackles' "Meet the Scout," winner of last week's Webcomic Wrapup, satirized the disparity of awesomeness inherent to the beta's character builds. That is to say, why run when you can fly or turn invisible or surround yourself with an impenetrable EMP field? We simply do not know.
Second and third place went to Digital Unrest's "The Golden Years" and Brawl in the Family's "Snake in the Grass 2," respectively. If you've got a favorite gaming-themed strip from this week you'd like to see in the next wrapup, drop a link in the comments, or send in a tip!

lol, Actually though I prefer the sprint from the rest, I actually think it's the best one. The field just delays your death by mere seconds, jetpack hardly saves you and "invisibility" is laughable. They have their worth though, depending the game type and map.

Sprint and Dodge are my favourite loadouts. They allow you to be more tactful with your approach, apply pressure easily and are great for finishers.
Armour Lock is cool too, use it in the middle of a battlefield and you're toast, but use it in 1v1s and it allows you to parry your opponents melee attacks and grenades.
Invis is fairly useless in large maps, useful in smaller ones so long as you've got a heavy type weapon.
Jetpack is useless. There is no ifs or buts.
OK maybe in Sword Base, when its CTF, but apart from that, its garbage.

Invisibility is amazing. Only reason people don't like it is because they're chumps who haven't realized that crouch walking removes you from your enemy's radar.

And Jetpack is the best defense against some of the heavier hitting weapons. Focus Rifles and Plasma Launchers are going to destroy you in midair but you've got the upper hand against rocket launchers, grav hammers, energy swords, etc.

Can you sprint whilst wearing Spartan grade MJOLNIR armour, a gravity hammer and a rocket launcher?
I thought so.

Sprint is awesome with a short range weapon like the hammer, also I use the scout in headhunter. Yes I play as a vulture. I will pick your carcasses dry and then run to the destination point for an easy score.
It is hard to beat the rocket launcher/Jet pack combo though.

I did like to comic, but sprint is honestly the most universally useful AA. I do like jetpacking on Sword Base, but other than that I'm rarely using anything besides sprint.

Okay all you people hating on sprint haven't tried the Beta so stop bashing it. Bungie aren't a bunch of amateurs, its a useful ability (makes your melee stronger for example). Please play the game before making stupid comics.
