I agree, as long as you meant fate and not faith
Tomb Raider does need a fresh start, but this just doesn't look fun

That...looks really quite good actually, nice for Lara to get back on her feet after a few not-so-good games :)

Not sure what games your are talking about. All of the CD games were good: Legend, Anniversary and even Underworld. It sounds like you didn't give them a chance or maybe were not a TR fan in the first place.
This downloadable one looks very entertaining!

Ohhh, disappointed. I thought it was a proper tomb raider game like they used to be, not like this with the silly camera.

They said they were splitting the franchise when they announced this game a few months ago. They're sill making Tomb Raider games, and they'll still be in the 'traditional' fashion, but they're also branching out and making these downloadable quasi-episodic games that will bear the 'Lara Croft' moniker and character but play out differently.
So you'll still get Tomb Raider 9 or whatever they'll call it. Hell, we'll probably see it at E3 for release this year or next even.

It's nice to see them trying out new ideas that still retain what made Tomb Raider fun.
Now how about a Tomb Raider 2 remake?

looks pretty crappy for a tomb raider game even if its a arcade game. With the isometric you loose the sense of wonder of the locales and scale of places, I think its a lame idea to do this game with Lara Croft. I loved Underworld and anniversary but I am gonna avoid this one like the plague. just looks like a dumb idea.

Anyone else kept expecting 'Blue Valkyrie needs food!' to pop up randomly during one of the fight sequences?

From the video, does it seems as if this XBLA/PSN game plays more like Titian's Quest? Seems cool that the developers took a different apporach to the game
I am suprised that Keeley Hawes (I love her role as Alex Drake in Ashes to Ashes series 2 and 3) is still voicing Lara. I expected a new VA since I thought this was the reboot game that was leaked some time ago-which I soon realize it isn't. I mean, it would seem odd to reboot the franchise a 2nd time with a budget game.

Kinda cool, I don't know about that $15 price tag though. We'll see.
