Have you already managed to complete Alan Wake's narrative arc, and now you're jonesing for more episodic storytelling in the Bright Falls universe? First of all, unless you live in Europe, holy crap you're fast. The game's only been out in the U.S. for half a day! Second of all, you now can look forward to the release of the game's first DLC pack, titled "The Signal," which Microsoft recently announced will launch on July 27.
If you bought a new copy of the game -- which, again, we're assuming you did, since it's been out for a few hours -- you've already got a coupon code that will let you grab the new content for free. Of course, we have no idea what that that content will actually entail. We're assuming that signals will be involved, and will somehow be directing our attention towards things that are scary.

Completed the game on Hard. Now looking to run through on Nightmare difficulty. Awesome story had me hooked from start to finish. I can't wait to see where the DLC will take us.

How long did it take, roughly?
(Not too long, and don't call me roughly)
Seriously though, duration?

From what I've seen it's around 5 hours to beat the game.

I've been exploring on my way round, trying to collect all the manuscripts etc on my way and after about 3-4 hours of playing on hard i'm just coming to the end of episode two. So my guess is that anyone who has completed it in five hours has either ran right through the game (i.e. missed the point) or is lying.

The ending totally lends itself to some extra episodes.
But they better be good, cause the gameplay is not the reason I finished it in the first place.

A lot of budget went into the miniseries. Plus it isn't a game requiring TV adverts.

For a game that had a 5-6 year dev cycle and has gotten a lot of praise in the media you'd think they'd of put a full court ad press. I've seen zero ads on tv but alot online on gaming sites. This game had been categorized as vaporware at one point along with Huxley and wardevil.

Hopefully it gives more context as to the ending. Can't wait for the 'stiq biomass to finish to hear their theory about the ending. Pretty awesome story in the game. No, I didn't pirate the game I watched it on jtv and YouTube.
I have a solid theory.
