Do you feel like satisfying that evil streak you've got locked away deep, deep inside you? You can now play as the maleficent baddies of Ferelden by picking up Dragon Age: Origins' newest DLC pack, Darkspawn Chronicles. It's available today on 360 and PC for 400 ($5). Check out the trailer above to get an idea of how the other, uglier half of Dragon Age's epic conflict lives.
According to BioWare's official website, the PS3 version of the DLC is "coming soon." We're not sure what the hang-up is, but we've contacted BioWare to get a rough idea of the content's ETA.
"Darkspawn Chronicles will be available for the PS3 in North America at approximately 4pm PST tomorrow May 18. It will be available for Europe on Wednesday May 19, when we know the time, we will let you know."
Hopefully it is less disappointing than Awakening was. What a waste of $40. At least the damn dwarf shouldn't be one of the main companions in this DLC
Mods work. DLC you can hack in if you buy it for the PC version or some nonsense. But there have been some bug fix patches to PC that just never got ported, and we can't buy any DLC, and Awakenings never got ported.
Lousy port, which soured my enjoyment of the game itself. Still, I beat it three times, so I should probably shut up.
Still waiting to pick DA:O up at all. It's definitely my kind of game, but I haven't had so much time to play lately so I'm getting through my steam backlog pretty slowly. The moment there's a significant discount I'll nab it though.
