If you're a supporter of all of Sega's ludological offerings -- not just the ones that include attitude-infused blue rodents -- you'll want to check out the Sega Complete Pack on Steam. For $90, you can grab all of Sega's PC games currently available on the platform; a list that includes Empire: Total War (and all its expansions), Space Siege, The Club, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, Aliens vs. Predator and a whole lot more. (Sorry Mac users, but almost all of these games are still only available to the Windows crowd.)
If you're looking for something a bit more cost-efficient, Steam is also offering Aliens vs. Predator alone at half price, for $24.99. But why not chip in the extra $65 and pick up more Total War games than you could ever play in a single lifetime? That seems like a sound economic decision to us.

Too bad on the sci-fi pack you only save $0.01

It says $0.01 because the individual games have been discounted by 75%.

AvP is no longer 50% off. Space Siege, Stormrise and Universe at War: Earth Assault are currently 75% off.

I saw best sellers showing the 90 dollar pack up at the number one spot all week. Seriously, who is buying that?? Yeah its a great deal if you happen to want every single one of those games and somehow haven't purchased any of the good ones yet. The rest are several years old, (which is fine, but why don't these people already have them)
the new AVP didn't even make the top 10 today so i don't even know what to think.

Too rich for my blood, I'm afraid. Whatevs, my account is still stacked with untouched games.

I'm with you on that one. I'm still full up on unplayed games from the actually good deals I got on the THQ, Eidos, and Rockstar packages.
Ninety bucks for a bunch of ho-hum mediocre games is not the kind of deal I expect from Steam these days.

I didn't know that Sega actually had a good catalog of PC games that were worth buying in one large purchase.

If I had a nickle for every time Steam put Rome: Total War on sale, I could probably buy it.

Is Universe at War good? I kind of want it...

It's OK, nothing special. The graphics are pretty poor for it's age (if you've played C&C Generals it's not far off that, but with better models...especially the infantry, although they still aren't great), gameplay's all right but not particularly engaging (it feels like). It's worth playing, but not worth full price. I bought it for £4 I think (about $5.60 at the current exchange rate) and it's certainly worth that. On steam it's £14.99, which isn't bad. If it goes on sale it may be worth picking up if you like RTSs. There's a demo out there somewhere so just try that and see for yourself. You play the prologue (where you play as the humans, which you can't do in the rest of the game) and a mission or two, so it's not giving too much away.
