Thank goodness for Shadow Complex. It has made games like this possible. Less time, less cost, but still just as fun as $60 games.

I love the detail of this hands-on! I really get the sense of what this game's about, and I definitely plan on getting it once it's released.

I don't know if I want to even try it. I feel like they're just going to hurt me again.

$15 is less of a risk than a full retail game. I say try it out!

Plus like all XBLA games, it's got a FREE demo (usually a chunk of, or the entire first level) built right in.

Too bad all retails games don't come with a free demo as a standard option. As many games as publishers sell, they could probably sell even more if free demos were a mandatory feature like they are on XBLA.

Does it also have online co-op? headset function? More of something a full retail would offer, but a godsend for people with friends in far places

My thoughts too. Valve's voip has been troublesome for my system.

Yep, it has local and online co-op. And there's headset functionality. We'll be revealing more detail in the not too distant future.

The game looks great! Something fresh and new can only be interesting, especially at a low price. ...Off the topic, I'm surprised nobody made a twisted comment about the fact that this article is titled "Hands On: Lara Croft".

I am really intrigued by this game, but since I do not have any good gamer friends, I am super excited to hear that there will be online coop.

I just really hope I do not get a 12 year old that hasn't gone through puberty yet as a partner...

So this splitting of the team, does that mean that we might actually get another 3rd person adventure/platformer like Underworld?

Well, according to Keir@Eidos who may or may not be legit, "Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is one of two projects Crystal are currently workin' on" with more details to be revealed later.

I am legit! *jumps up and down*

Tomb Raider is in the fabric of Crystal Dynamics now. The guys at Crystal are working on TWO games right now and LCGoL isn't the next TR ;)

Hope that helps :)
