Making casual games = "growing up"? If that's the case, then I'll gladly be a childish adult.

Let's get Stubbs The Zombie 2, k?

We all know how Wideload's last casual party game turned out.

Does anyone even remember 'Hail To The Chimp'? Yeah, didn't think so.

Interacting with family from kids to grandparents instead of closing yourself off from society is growing up.
Realizing what you want isn't very important, b/c you're just one person in a sea of humanity is growing up.
Deciding that entertainment isn't life and shouldn't be receive the majority of your time and attention is growing up.

So are casual games growing up? I don't know. Maybe in some ways?
...but I do know that dismissing them as somehow beneath you is probably more childish than adult-ish.

They are beneath me. I don't have the time, nor does my family have the time to gather and play 'party games'.
