Zombies enter the Risk: Factions fray

Well, naturally. This is how we assumed the make-up of the five different armies featured in Risk: Factions would evolve: first, there are humans, and then there were cats, who were bested by robots, and now somehow there are zombies. You wouldn't think them to be brilliant global strategists, but judging by their introduction cinematic which we've posted above, we think they won't have any problem holding their own.

Until, of course, they start infecting the robot faction. The resulting zombie-robots (or, if you will, "zobots") could pretty much run the board in less than three rounds.

I bet aliens are the fifth race. Seems like an easy bet considering the originality of the other races.

Too bad it's not something like deep sea monsters or something. I'd annoy everybody by saying "Release the Kraken!" every time I rolled, hoping for triple sixes.

The fifth race will be Yetis.

This whole artistic direction... looks totally lame.

These little promo bits they are releasing before the game comes out is giving me zero reason to want or hope for this game.

When I play risk, I don't envision cats or zombies or cartoons. Don't "kid" it up.

They've pretty much already mastered Risk classic for video games, so I don't mind seeing something fun and satirical. I also really, really want a new Risk video game so I'll take what I can get.
