But does it top 8-bit Molten Core in gameplay advances and true story narration?

At first it looked like Space Invaders were going to destroy Luke Skywalker's house.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I have no doubts that somebody's working on making this a playable game as we speak. When Blizzard featured 8-bit World of Warcraft as one of their April Fool's Day jokes a year or two ago, somebody had made a fully playable version of the game within a few months.

This is absolutely awesome. If Starcraft were this barebones, I might actually be decent at it!

Did everybody have to play Oregon Trail? My wife and I were just talking about how we played it as kids. We are both from Oregon though, so it tends to make sense that we would, but I wasn't sure about the rest of the country.

I believe the very existence of this shirt means that a lot of people did:

I sure did, Utah here. But, it was more of a buy a gun and spend the rest of the money on ammo. At the first chance you got to hunt, you'd do nothing else.

The commentary was off, this is based off sc1, and he kept mentioning stalkers. Also, the burrowed unit at the terran base was a lurker, not a zergling.

Hardly ever, yes, but without one some things are just crippled (jumping around the map for example.

I'm glad you guys liked it overall. Clearly it's not real, that part is just a joke. Though a lot of people took it seriously (I purposely put in "Activision/blizzard" to ruffle a few feathers) and it basically turns my video into my own private pond to troll in. ;-)

The amount of feedback I've gotten from this video is amazing. It got me off my butt to start up my online store. It's like a dream of mine to one day run into someone wearing a HLSK shirt at a mall while I'm wearing an MRN shirt and then we spot eachother and start fighting.

Okay not really, but I would love to see someone walking around with a shirt from this video, that would make me happy for like 4 years.

Anyway again, I'm happy so many people like the video. I tried to keep it as true to mid-80's videogames as I could both visually and gameplay wise. I'm glad it worked out and made people's days a little bit more fun.

Here's my blog: http://blog.owendennis.com. I'm trying to get the word out to people that if they buy a shirt then they should send me a picture so I can upload it and we can have a fun community.

Also here's my website where there's more of my work if you're interested, not all videogame related of course: http://www.owendennis.com

Thanks for the shout out. I'm feelin' all cool cause I'm on Joystiq... ;-)
