The lie here is that there is no extra strain on the servers as there is still only ONE person playing that ONE copy of the game. It is no more of a strain on the servers for a person playing a used copy of a game as an original owner still playing their newly purchased game online. It's still 2 copies of the game with 2 players.
This is a clear example of corporate greed that has the potential to create a domino effect throughout the gaming industry, leading more and more game makers to follow suit. Leaving the customers/gamers to pay more and get less.
TELL EA GAMES THAT YOU WILL BOYCOTT TITLES THAT INCLUDE THIS FEATURE.

The only people that would boycott this are people who buy used games. Since you buy used games, you're not buying from EA, so you're already boycotting them, so why would they care?
