Deadline: Fox finds Hitman 2 director

According to a Deadline report, 20th Century Fox is in talks with "Paintball" director Daniel Benmayor to helm the second Hitman film. Benmayor has worked on some killer commercials, including a few for Sony PlayStation -- you know, before The Butler did it.

Set to be written by Kane & Lynch scribe Kyle Ward, the smartly dressed assassin's second cinematic outing has yet to confirm the return of one bald, shiny star. For the sake of consistency, we hope there's an Olyphant in the room when Fox finalizes its discussions. Where else in Hollywood could you find someone to play a glib bump-off professional who regularly dives through the air while shooting a gun?

I liked the Hitman movie

Yes, it really showed how every hitman's dream is to eventually hook up with a Crack addict/prostitute from an eastern european country. After all, what's all the money, glory and killing good for if not crack addicted prostitutes who seem really skanky?

it wasn't Bourne movie but it was good in a over the top borderline b-movie way. i like that stuff. the girl was smoking hot too.

not a movie i'd see in the theatre but a good hung-over on Sunday afternoon flick.

Yeah, I think she is Russian and also in that last bond movie, which sucked. But she can't really speak english well.

Hilarity when she says, "there is the sink whore" instead of saying "sink hole"

True, the first movie was very bad. However, they are adding in a new director. This should improve the movie possibly in terms of action scenes, cinematography, story pacing, etc. Secondly, they are adding in a new screenplay writer who has a good history, hence meaning the story should improve.

Better story, better cinematography, better action scenes? Well, it would fix a few of the issues of Hitman 1 and might make Hitman 2 half decent.

The story was the main issue with Hitman 1. All they need to do is make him a cold-blooded agent again with NO LOVE INTEREST!

It's called "Hitman".

So no. No violence.

It is violent and a pretty decent popcorn flick. I would go as far as to say this is one of the best "videogame movies" I have seen. I understand that doesn't mean a whole lot though...
