For some reason the article picture reminds me of Total Recall.

It reminds me of that scene in John Carpenter's the thing, where that guys neck stretches and then the head becomes it's own creature.

Can't wait for this.
It's a Doctor Who game and it's free, what's not to like?

Haha wow. The last time I saw a face texture like that was for the original Sims. I thought most of the time now the hair was separate.

That is EXACTLY what I first thought when I saw that.
Weird huh?

It's a low-poly game so modeling the hair and body as one piece simplifies everything, the hair is only separate in higher poly games where there is going to be hair animation and whatnot.

I suppose you should start from the beginning although, not every episode is great but it shows the development of Matt's Doctor.

Onto the video game, I'm quite excited to be playing as the doctor especially in this form, cant wait for this weeks episode.

From it's earliest point Doctor Who has always been great. Unfortunately the newer ones are hitting the Eleventh Doctor, which Matt Smith plays. Not a huge fan of him. The best out of the new in my opinion is the Tenth Doctor era. As Danshini said, not every episode is great but a lot of them are. There are tying story lines and such but you shouldn't be expected to start at the beginning of the 1963 episodes. This probably makes no sense to someone who isn't already a fan of Doctor Who.

I really liked the 10th Doctor (David Tennant) and figured no one could top him but ive been loving the 11th (Matt Smith) which really surprises me then again i didnt get into Who until the 9th (Christopher Eccleston) and dont care much for the older ones.

I just got my friend into the series, and he started with the 11th Doctor's first episode and liked it fine. But he's been going back and watching seasons 1-4 (Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant), which I definitely recommend. It's only 13 episodes and a special per season. Definitely worth catching up, and they do a good job of not relying on previous knowledge of Doctor Who canon.

I think the first installment of the Adventure Game is in two Satursday, not next one. The first one is on June 5, innit?

I believe "next Saturday" can refer to June 5th, with May 29th being considered "this Saturday".
