Well, better to leave a game finished in greatness then ruining it with mounds of sequels and running it dry.
New Killer 7 sounds sweet though.

I gotta admit, the disappointment of NMH2 ending left me wanted more, just to see Travis go out with a bang.

Also, an open request to all game journalists out there - please keep asking about another Killer7!! Keep encouraging him!

I wholeheartedly support this. Killer7 was a game with flashes of unmitigated brilliance, but it desperately needed to be expanded and polished. Any chance to revisit the property - whether through a ground-up remake, a sequel, or hell, even an anime version - I would be all over in a heartbeat.

Despite what naysayers might say, Flower, Sun, and Rain is a good game. I'm even tempted to use a modifier - a very good game – but maybe I shouldn't. Anyway, it was the idea of repetition and questioning repetition that got to me; games rarely question. That's why I was really excited to hear that the Silver Case was to get a Western release. You see, characters from the the Silver Case end up in FSR and their presence isn't altogether fleshed out. You're expected to know from SC – the first game.

Though I doubt SC will get a Western release. It all sounds like he was shooting the shit, I think.

Flower, Sun and Rain was an AWFUL game. An intentionally awful game. Remember the level that just made you run miles - and then took the piss out of you for doing it? Several times?

Or the whole gameplay concept which is basically, look up answers to puzzles in a tourist guidebook (most of which are easy, and a few of which are difficult, but only because they're obscure or badly described), then type in numbers which solves the puzzles - for no apparent reason? (And the levels that took the piss out of you for that, too. Again, several times.)

So it was a terrible game, but a pretty fresh experience - one which I'd recommend to pretty much everyone with a brain.

Oh my, the running...

I do remember a character, some snotty little kid, asking why are you still playing this bad game, or something to that nature.

I laughed.

I would love to see a new Killer 7 game.

But, with nothing on NMH3 and Killer 7, it lets him work on that horror game him and Q are working together on. Now THAT has some amazing potential.

I heard it's a action-horror game (like RE4). What's it about?

How about bringing that 360 port of NMH over here to the US? Pretty please?

Without spoiling too much, I don't see how a sequel to Killer7 is necessary. A remake for the Wii would be pretty neat though, and could probably be controlled with just the Wiimote.

On a somewhat related note, Killer7 WAS published by Capcom - let's see some damn Smiths in MvC3.

It could be a prequel. There is an endless well of stories to mine of the many assassinations carried out by the Killer7.

My biggest problem with Killer 7 was just aiming with the left analog stick on the GC. It just feels awkward. If he remade it for the wii and used the wiimote for aiming I think the game could really be improved, and it would be more accessible.

That is disappointing.

I was going to start playing No More Heroes 2 today, but now I'm a little depressed.

Still, that doesn't mean there won't be any plans in the future, right?

It probably just means he hasn't thought of anything yet. Play NMH2, it's pure awesome.
