Is there some sort of rule you have to shoehorn in Avatars for XBL games?
I don't remember those smug assholes in my Madballs.

Little drop from the Monkey Island deal, but still some good prices. Lazy Raiders is worth $5 I think.

Really Joystiq? Spammy ads that float across the screen?

Ads are those things on this website that some of us look at and click on occasionally so that Joystiq doesnt get shut down due to being unprofitable.

Thanks for helping the cause by not looking or clicking,jynxycat.

@jynxy

Ads are the banners that help the websites you love fund their operations so that they can continue to provide you with the content you love.

Lazy Raiders is OK. Not really great or bad, just something to kill time with.

I'm still waiting on WOTB:C3 to go on sale. I love Ikari Warriors.

Haven't really seen the Capcom games go on sale (aside from BC:R, once). Love me some WotB too.

Madballs is a lot of fun. I got it on Steam for $2.50 though. I think it's easily worth $5.

I'll try all of these, probably will pick up at least one. Still working my way through Monkey Island though.

I hadn't fully realized how much modern games hold your hand until I started playing Monkey Island. Damn! I had told myself I wouldn't need any help, but I already resorted to the in-game hint system and/or GameFAQs a few times in Part One alone. I'm still kicking myself for that. It always seems so obvious after the fact...

I'll be trying the demo on these but will probably only pick up one. Band of Bugs is the early favorite since I love turn-based strategy (Advance Wars, hello!).

Got the q-tip... sorry, cotton swab from last week's sale so I've spoiled my avatar enough recently, although he could use some exercise so maybe that ball would be a good idea.
