As senior designer Dean Smith puts it, "For some reason, there's a lot of explosive things lying around Pacific City as well, so there's always a new prop to grab or a new explodable of some type." Now that's what gets us excited for more Crackdown: stuff exploding! Lots of stuff exploding! Hooray explosions!

Looks like a lot of fun, but I'm still concerned about those helicopters. Not that I don't like helicopters, but rather that I'm worried they're going to screw up the orb collecting mechanic by making some of the more challenging orbs too easy to get.

Looking forward to the co-op madness, hoping they really pump that out well.

After watching that video, I believe that "awesomeness" is completely acceptable.

Day 4 buy!
Day 4 because I don't really follow the release date of when games come out and I'll have to look at my friends list to see what everyone is playing and go "Oh ya! I'll pick that up tomorrow when I head into town for some Cap'n Crunch with Crunch Berries!"
Because, Cap'n Crunch and Crunch Berries are awesome!
(But not as awesome as Blueberry Muffin Tops! BOOM!)
this post just happened.

It sucks when people think they're funny and try too hard.

The first one was such a surprise hit I hope this one gets the attention this series deserves.

I didn't think I would mind that they weren't creating a new city until I saw this video. After recognizing so many locations from the first game, Crackdown 2 is starting to give off an expansion pack vibe. I hope I'm wrong.

The amount of time i spent on the original renders this game a no-go for me. Although they clearly have expanded the gameplay, when it's all said and done, i'm not going to get anything different from it.

This looks fairly similar to prototype. Hopefully they can cure the repetitive and mindless feeling that it had and throw in the crackdown charm the original had.

I think elastic energy beams fall into the category of "awesomeness"

Looking forward to this game as well, but fell short of watching any material released on it until now. Got to say I'm a bit disappointed with the graphics...

Holy crap, the mag grenades are going to be the definition of awesomeness. The potential for causing chaos with those is amazing.
