isnt the point of demos to try them before deciding to buy a game. how long has the pixeljunk game been out? they are even talking about pixeljunk shooter 2 already. isnt it a bit late for the demo? PS: what ever happened to the pixjunk shooter DLC? they said they would make it, pxjnk eden had DLC. its unfair

Well apparently they never needed a demo till now so sales must have been pretty steady. They must have dropped, so they release a demo to entice the people that never would've considered getting it. Kind of smart way to handle demos really.
Wait until everyone that wanted to buy it gets it then try and convince others.

Maybe they are also releasing the demo to hype up the brand for the sequel, so maybe they'll be an announcement soon.

Demos are a promotional too and can be handled in different ways, though most companies just throw the demo out at the start, I think what this company did was smarter.

If you don't buy a game the day it is released, it will still be available for purchase later on. I never understood why people get so pissy when a demo is released after a game comes out. YOU DON'T NEED TO BUY GAMES RIGHT AWAY! Especially games that you think you need a demo to play first.

Wow. "Feel for Two," which is SCEE's bundling of 12 of the recently released Minis from Sony Japan Studio, is 4 Euros. Since they're $2 each in the US, that's $24 worth of content for a mere $5. And guess what? For the Europeans, they're playable on the PS3 (though I'm not sure that's really useful, given that they're mostly intended to be viewed with the PSP held vertically)!

Looks like SCEE seriously undercut SCEA. Of course, SCEJ sells them each for 299 yen, so Japan is worst off.
