If you need a disconcerting reminder of Google's power, you need look no further than May 21, when the search giant got the
entire planet excited to play
Pac-Man using only its logo. If you never want to search for anything on the internet again without the potential for distraction, we've got great news (or bad news,
if you're an employer): The Pac-themed logo has become a
permanent fixture here.
So as not to be left behind, we've enabled the Joystiq logo to play chess. Just set the board up in front of your screen and wait for its first move. Oh, don't let the wait fool you, it just needs a while to think. ... Should be just a moment or two more now.
