That actually makes sense, as I believe Natsume published the original Lufia II and it's sequel for the GBC. Atlus published the GBA side story, I'm not sure why. I'm glad this is getting published, as the original is one of my favorite games, and the 30$ price tag makes it even better.

the artwork really reminds me of Final Fantasy VIII... or at least the artwork from the card game?

Not too surprising considering Natsume published the original in the US.

The original was a very under appreciated game. In the midst of Crono Trigger and Final Fantasy many people missed what actually may have been the best RPG on the SNES.

Lufia 2 was awesome, and one of the best SNES games, but its town-dungeon-key-town pattern puts it behind CT and FF/4/5/6 in my opinion. But I'm psyched to hear that this is a remake of Lufia 2. Should be interesting.

This sentence should be used for Earthbound :P

Whoa, awesome. I rented this back in the day. I'm pretty sure it was my first RPG. It will be a first day purchase, without question.

Hey, maybe the temple that has the dual blade won't be glitched to be unplayable like in the SNES version.

I'm not sure I understand what Fadeoutagain2784 means. Those games were just as formulaic. But the thing I always felt gave Lufia 2 the leg up was the puzzles. It added an element to the gameplay not normally found in other rpgs of the time.

I never understood the hype surrounding Earthbound. I just didn't think it was that good.

It's disconcerting that in one line it's Idula and in another it's Idura. Also, I am not liking these designs that much... C'est la vie. Whine whine whine.

I'm just too much of an original Lufia 2 fanboy. Man I'm hoping the best for this title, despite my whining.
