I knew it'd be over $100. Natal intrigues me but not $150 worth.

Damn, that's a DS lite and a game man!!!

I was never interested in Natal as I've always felt it would be a gimmick, but this is even worse than I feared. At $150, this thing will be pushed HARD by Microsoft to try to make it profitable. What that will very likely do is either:

A) Split the market between game development for Natal and traditional, joypad-based releases.

Or even worse, possibly...

B) Mark a complete shift in Microsoft's future plans away from traditional controls over to motion-based as its default interface, a'la Nintendo.

Maybe I'm wrong about one or both of these, but after what's already happened with Nintendo's Wii I feel pretty sure that those of us who consider ourselves "hardcore traditionalists" may want to puke our guts out this time next year when there's a metric ton of shovelware for ALL THREE SYSTEMS on the shelves and somebody else comes out of the woodwork announcing yet another "great breakthrough" in some new control interface or peripheral.

To Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo: STOP POISONING THE INDUSTRY WITH THIS CRAP AND GET BACK TO WHAT MATTERS: THE GAMES!!!!!!!! And give us some semblance of variety while you're at it; I'm sick to death of all these me-too first-person shooters and 3rd-person platforming and action games. Let's see the innovation and variety in the GAMES, PEOPLE. 'Nuff said.

I can understand if it costs a little bit on the "higher" side since it does more than Wii or Move, but $150 is too much. I'd pay upto $100 but would still be wary since any 360 hardware I've bought since it's release has failed me prematurely, be it controllers, battery packs, consoles, etc.

I personally think that 150 is a little high. But honestly I think this going to change the way we play video games forever. If what there saying is true about what this Natal thing can do then the possibilities are endless just think about. IF it was 150 I would stay for it because it will be something new and it wont be the same b.s. thats been coming out the last 10 years. Im not saying gaming hasnt come a long way. I just think its time for a change. And if microsoft pulls it off at e3 and really shows what this thing can do. And its good. I will be first in line to pay whatever price microsoft has to offer. Ive been a microsoft fan since the original xbox. And microsfot proven that the xbox is the way to go no matter how much it costs. I mean think about it. What would online gaming be like if it wasnt for xbox live. The ps3??? Get the f*** outta here.

I'll wait until they show some games. However $150 makes it hard to maintain interest.

No way. I wont buy Natal for that crazy price. I live in Poland, and as user of X360 I feel I'm cheated by Microsoft. First of all there is no Xbox Live support, and stupid regional restrictions make impossible to buy and download some of content. All we got is tantalizing us about starting Live here in future.

The second thing is the lack of exclusives for Xbox 360. I bought this console for Fable. I enjoyed F2, both Mass Effect games (but this one is on PC too) and Alan Wake. But releasing Fable 3 on PC is pure rudeness.

I wont let Microsoft to make money on me anymore. Im gathering funds for PS3 Slim. It will be great and free online experience, with Play Station Move propably much better because I have also Wii and I like its controls very much.

I think people are too freaked out by the price. $149 is not that bad considering that you only have to buy one piece of equipment. Ask a Wii user how much they have spent on their motion controllers. Remember that system can support four controllers at once. Same thing with Sony's Move. $100 for only one controller. I wonder if the average PS3 user that buys Move will only buy just one motion controller. Just sayin. People start ranting without seeing the bigger picture.

I play alone nearly exclusively. And btw, I do it while lying on the couch. I'm not interesting in jump around games.

They need to make some cool games before i decide if i'm gonna buy it. Need to see FPS's or some 3d creative building stuff before i make my choice.

At $150, not a single chance at all, in hell, ever. And I blow money on a ton of electronic junk all the time. I bought a $700 TV JUST to play Red Dead in my bedroom, instead of my living room, with a 46" Aquos in there already. My 360 died and instead of sending it away, I bought a new one. I bought a PS3 just for a freaking baseball game.

Legit, I blow money on electronic junk... but I would not spend $150 on Natal. Microsoft, take this as a lesson.

Absolute HONEST answer and please read just MY opinion now everyones...I would not pay $10 for NATAL. Out with motion and in with the hardcore. That's what a 360 is and they can take the casual approach bullshit and shove it up their @$$!!!

Shouldn't your comment be directed at Sony, seeing as how they have totally raped the wii of its controller.cause i really can't see how your comment relates to Natal concept.

i think the price is ok. it should be $100. but that's the cheap arse in me.

as far as i know u dont need more than one camera right? and last i checked natal is said to be the controller free experience.

u buy a wii mote and a motion plus and that just gives u ability for one player. add a nunchuck in there and do the math, times that by 4. ps3's move will need two controllers as well. basically same thing buy one set now times that by 4.

granted natal will probably eventually start making a bunch of bs peripherals just like nintendo did but its a damn business people.

Please be in the $80.00 to $100.00 price window, $150.00 for a price tag, should include a free 16gig Thumb Drive, 1 free xbxlive game of our choice and 800 MS points.

I seriously don't care if it is $150, it does not phase me one bit. plus, the only reason people are pretending to be outraged with the price is because most (most) of you know your parents will not buy it for you right away.
