ESRB rates Limbo for PS3 and PC

According to the ESRB, it looks like the Xbox won't be the only platform stuck in Limbo this summer. Assuming the recent ESRB listing is accurate, Playdead's terrifying, striking platformer is also headed to the PlayStation 3 and PC. Definitely good news if true, given how much we enjoyed the game's brooding atmosphere earlier this year.

We've contacted Playdead for confirmation on the listing and will update this post with any new info.

Yay, I was looking forward to this game ever since I heard about it from the IGF but was disappointed when it was only announced for 360. Now that the love is being spread to the rest; Joystiq you have made me a happy man this night.

ESRB rated it as "Teen" for anyone interested / lazy enough to not go to the source link.. Was kinda interested to know how these "graphic depictions of death" were going to be rated.

Does it strike anyone else odd that a post about the ESRB rating a game doesn't actually mention the rating?

I wonder if this is a dpad game or an analog stick game, if its dpad favored then PS3 is a no brainer.

Sweet! I prefer to buy my downloadable games on the PS3, since I got that one first and have way more invested in PSN than XBLA. I would have gotten the game one way or another, and that's all that really matters in the end. Because it looks friggin awesome. Right up my super picky alley.
