Stop giggling -- this is a serious expansion to the critically acclaimed historical strategy game about the fight between Napoleon and various European powers over the Iberian Peninsula in the early 1800s. The Peninsular Campaign (seriously, stop) adds a new campaign map to Napoleon: Total War featuring Britain, Spain and Portugal countering Napoleon's French forces, as well as three new agent types (priest, provocateur and the Guerrillero) and new features for multiplayer.
Extra content and new challenges will make the game longer and harder (really?) than ever before. For those interested, the add-on pack will be available exclusively through Steam later on this summer. The rest of you, get your minds out of the gutter.

Mike, seriously. You should be ashamed of yourself for this one. Probably some of the worst attempts at innuendo (inb4 "in-YOUR-endo") I've ever seen. The two words look NOTHING alike!
Then again, you American's laugh at the word 'duty' because of your silly pronunciation, so I shouldn't really be surprised :P

Empires has been my least favorite so far. I've played Rome: TW for 3 years before moving onto Medieval 2 for about 1 year, then Empires for about 2 months.

I followed Total war from Medieval (1) to empire, (wasn't around for shogun)
Two things prevent me from buying Napoleon.
1. Really, the entire game is about the French? Hard sell.
2. I purchased Empire: Total War on release day, have probably over 200 hours invested in it. And have never finished a grand campaign. Because every single one ends with a CPU unit move causing a crash to desktop. Usually about 100 or so turns in.

I have played every single Total War game that has been released, the whole game is not about the french it has other factions to control, yes the main depth of the game does wrap you around Bonaparte's Campaigns and life, gives it away a bit in the title, its a brilliant game one that has not glitched at all for me, all I can say people is get better gaming computers!
Its history in a game, many people didn't even know about Napoleon before this game so not only is it a great game it gets people leaning about history!
Me being 28 years old and followed much of the Napoleonic wars on History channels, DVD'S and books appreciate that its teaching young ones something about history! (about bloody time, at least people can stop thinking the battle of Waterloo was in Waterloo station London, idiots)

Was disappointed with Empire, but Napoleon is amazing and hasn't got any glitches and I'm like 60 turns into my campaign.
